What Senna, Rhubarb, Cascara tablet is used for:
  • This medicine is an herbal laxative aiding in relieving constipation.
Do not use Senna, Rhubarb, Cascara tablet:
  • Do not use for more than 10 days, contraindicated in Irritable Bowel Syndrome and diabetes.
Warnings and precautions:
  • Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or if symptoms persist.
Possible side effects:
  • Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop throat tightness or swelling of the eyes, face, lips or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you develop hives or itching of the face or body. 
Other medicines and Senna, Rhubarb, Cascara tablet:
  • Moderate Interaction: Be cautious with this combination
  • Digoxin (Lanoxin) interacts with SENNA
  • Senna is a type of laxative called a stimulant laxative. Stimulant laxatives can decrease potassium levels in the body.
  • Low potassium levels can increase the risk of side effects of digoxin (Lanoxin).
  • Water pills (Diuretic drugs) interacts with SENNA
  • Senna is a laxative. Some laxatives can decrease potassium in the body. "Water pills" can also decrease potassium in the body.
  • Taking senna along with "water pills" might decrease potassium in the body too much.
  • Warfarin (Coumadin) interacts with SENNA
  • Senna can work as a laxative. In some people senna can cause diarrhea.
  • Diarrhea can increase the effects of warfarin and increase the risk of bleeding.
  • If you take warfarin do not to take excessive amounts of senna.
