Product Description:

VENTOLINcontains a medicine called salbutamol.
This belongs to a group of medicines called bronchodilators

Caution & Warnings:

Do not take VENTOLINif:

You are allergic to Salbutamol sulfate.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before using medicine if:
You have high blood pressure.
You are diabetic.
You have overactive thyroid gland.
You have a history of heart problems such as an irregular or fast heartbeat or angina.
You are use another nebulizer solution, or taking any medicines.
You are pregnant, might get pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.

• Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over - The usual dose is 0.5 ml to 1 ml of Ventolin Respirator Solution (2.5 to 5 mg salbutamol). Some patients may require up to 2 ml (10 mg salbutamol).
• Children aged 18 months to 12 years - The usual dose is 0.5 ml to 1 ml (2.5 to 5 mg salbutamol) of Ventolin Respirator Solution, given four times daily.

This is because it needs to be given as an injection.<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>When you go home, you may need to continue to use Enoxaparin and give it yourself<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>Enoxaparin is usually given by injection underneath the skin (subcutaneous).<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>Enoxaparin can be given by injection into your vein (intravenous) after certain types of heart attack or operation.<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>Enoxaparin can be added to the tube leaving the body (arterial line) at the start of the dialysis session.<o:p></o:p></li>\n</ul>\n<o:p> </o:p>\nDo not inject Enoxaparin into a muscle.\nHow much will be given to you:<o:p></o:p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your doctor will decide how much Enoxaparin to give you. The amount will depend on the reason it is being used.<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>If you have problems with your kidneys you may be given a smaller amount of Enoxaparin.<o:p></o:p></li>\n</ul>\n<o:p> </o:p>\nInstructions for use of the syringe:<o:p></o:p>\n<o:p> </o:p>\nHow to give yourself an injection of Enoxaparin<o:p></o:p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are able to give Enoxaparin to yourself, your doctor or nurse will show you how to do this. Do not try to inject yourself if you have not been trained how to do so. <o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>If you are not sure what to do, talk to your doctor or nurse immediately. Performing the injection properly under the skin (called “subcutaneous injection”) will help reduce pain and bruising at the injection site.<o:p></o:p></li>\n</ul>\n<o:p> </o:p>\nUse in children and adolescents:<o:p></o:p>\n<ul>\n<li>The safety and efficacy of Enoxaparin has not been evaluated in children or adolescents.<o:p></o:p></li>\n</ul>\n<o:p> </o:p>\nPossible side effects:\n<o:p></o:p>\n<ul>\n<li>Like other similar medicines (medicines to reduce blood clotting), Enoxaparin may cause bleeding which may potentially be life-threatening. In some cases the bleeding may not be obvious.<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>If you experience any bleeding event that does not stop by itself or if you experience signs of excessive bleeding (exceptional weakness, tiredness, paleness, dizziness, headache or unexplained swelling), consult your doctor immediately.<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>Your doctor may decide to keep you under closer observation or change your medicine.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stop using Enoxaparin and talk to a doctor or nurse at once if </li>\n<li>you get any signs of a severe allergic reaction (such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, mouth, throat or eyes).<o:p></o:p></li>\n</ul>\n<o:p> </o:p>\nHow to store Enoxaparin: \n<ul>\n<li>Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.       </li>\n<li>Enoxaparin prefilled syringes are single dose containers – discard any unused product.<o:p></o:p></li>\n<li>Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.      </li>\n<li>Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.       </li>\n<li>Do not use this medicine if you notice the syringe is damaged or the product is not clear.       </li>\n<li>Medicines should not be disposed via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required.
